Report: Russia imports 1st batch of salt from Iran

MOSCOW, Dec 5 (PRIME) -- Russia has imported the first, 1,000 tonne batch of salt from Iran, CEO of Iran Mineral Salts Company Ali Rostami told newswire IRNA late on Wednesday.

“Speaking to IRNA, Ali Rostami said Russia is a good market for exports. He added that salt exports are to hit 5,000 tons per month,” the newswire reported.

The name of the importer was not disclosed.
